The golf resort is situated on the eastern outskirts of the town of Beroun, around 30 km from Prague. The dynamic par-72 course is 6,087 metres long and was designed by Canadian architect Les Furber. It spreads over 65 hectares and offers an evenly balanced mix of flat and hilly terrain, challenging holes and views of the charming valleys of the Berounka and Litavka Rivers and the rocks of the Czech Karst. The design of the Beroun course bears the typical signature of its author – visibility of all impact surfaces, the possibility of a strategic decision between a risky, straight path to the hole or a longer but safe path without risk. There are 70 sand bunkers and 4 artificial lakes on the course which will test the professional player or low-handicap amateur but will also bring joy to the recreational or novice player. Women in particular will appreciate the placement of their tees, which allows for an elegant first shot on the fairway even on the most difficult holes.
